Prayer Course

This course is a 6-session course in spiritual formation centered around a theology and practice of prayer. It will include both a teaching/discussion component and a practice/homework component. The assignments for this course will include:

• 1 weekly reading or podcast, selected by the participant from a list of options. (Additional, optional resources will be included each week as well).
• A different daily prayer practice to participate in and reflect on each week of the course.
• Space each week to reflect and journal on your life of prayer with God.

The six sessions for this course will:

• Run for roughly 90 minutes each
• Be hosted at Bureau Gravity (56 S La Salle St, Aurora, IL 60505)
• Begin at 1pm on Sunday afternoons
• Be scheduled to run on 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/12, and 11/19.

A small registration fee of $30 will cover the cost of course materials (financial assistance may be available upon request). We are exploring an option for childcare during the course or a childcare credit for those who would need it in order to participate (please indicate if you are interested in this option below).
