THE FAITH AT WORK COURSE

Have you ever struggled to bridge the gap between Sunday morning at church and Monday morning at work? Do you long for greater freedom and confidence to live on mission in your everyday life? This June, we're excited to partner with Mission Central to offer the Faith at Work Course, an interactive course that equips Jesus followers to live on mission in their workplace.

Faith at Work

Topics include:
—Why Work?
—Discerning Callings and Career Turning Points
—Justice, Beauty, and Healing at Work
—Listening Well to Coworkers’ Stories
—Sharing the Good News at Work

Course sessions are workshop-style and include teachings, discussion, interactive activities, and a practice/homework component. Each week includes a follow-up reading, video, or podcast, selected by the participant from a list of options. (Additional, optional resources will be included each week as well.)

Disciple-making Courses

At City of Light, Disciple-making courses are short term, intensive, and Lord willing, transformational. They include both a teaching/discussion component and a practice/homework component.

A small registration fee of $25 will cover the cost of course materials (financial assistance may be available upon request). Please reach out to course@cityoflightanglican.org with any other questions!

About Mission Central & Chris Easley

Chris Easley is a member of City of Light and the Founder and Team Leader of Mission Central, an Aurora based non-profit providing courses and resources designed to form Christians for mission in everyday life. Chris received his education from Wheaton College (B.A. Education, English) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A. Theological Studies) and has worked in various fields, including as a church administrator, college minister, in the mortgage industry, and now with Northern Illinois Food Bank.
