Deacon Eduardo and Ashley Davila have been called to love and serve the Latino community in Aurora through City of Light Anglican. Their vision is to see a thriving multi-cultural congregation that is constantly engaging all people groups in Aurora with the love and message of Jesus Christ.
Originally from Nicaragua, Deacon Eduardo has developed a passion to help Latino immigrants find their home and rest in Jesus Christ. As a bicultural Latino, Eduardo is also working to help the white Anglican community learn to love and serve alongside Latinos. Prior to connecting at City of Light, he pastored Iglesia de la Resurrección in Wheaton, IL, and served at Caminemos Juntos, the Latino Anglican network.
Both Eduardo and Ashley attended at Bryan College and Wheaton College Graduate School. They enjoy wilderness trails, reading, and cooking. They love to use all their gifts and resources to help others experience the presence of God. They’ve been married since October 2011 and hope to move to Aurora soon!

The vision of City of Light is help others find a new day in Jesus, a new home in his church, and a new heart for their neighbors and neighborhoods.
